The East Bridgewater Arts Council is a local volunteer group that supports and provides programs in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences to the East Bridgewater community. The council evaluates cultural needs and establishes priorities in order to perform its primary function of re-granting funds allocated by the Massachusetts Cultural Council. The grant cycle is in process now. No new grants can be written but we encourage all artists-historians-humanities-musical groups to think ahead to each years cycle the deadline always is the 15th of October. We try in deciding the allocation of grants to give one to each area of our town-COA-EBPL-the 3 Schools-& local Adult workshops-All funding is for events to benefit the residents of East Bridgewater.

The Council is best-known for the Annual Festival of the Arts. We had to cancel this year due to a shortage of help. We hope to hold it in the Fall  of 2011 at The town Hall -The 2009 Festival was an elegant and wonderful affair held at Town Hall for the 1st time. Unfortunately, 2010 was a break in the 26-year tradition. New ideas, feedback and contributions are encouraged.
We need more members!

Student Festival of the Arts will be held in March (Art Month!)

IMPORTANT NOTE:  The Annual Arts Festival will Occur this Fall 2011!
