The Commission is a seven member board appointed by the Selectmen

Current members: Steven Sears, Stephen Damon, Claire Yocum,
Frank Johnson, Paul Gallant, Elliott Jacobs, and Derek Margarit


The Conservation Commission reviews all building permits filed in East
Bridgewater. Any proposed project that is within 100 ft. of a resource
area may require a filing with the Commission. Applications may be
obtained through the office or by going to
Presently, all application fees are set by the state with the fee being
divided between the state and the town. The fees vary depending on the
size and scope of the project. For a homeowner constructing an
addition, pool or garage the fee is approximately $55.00.

REMINDER*** Spring is coming and that means many of you are thinking
of installing pools, landscaping or additions. Please remember to start
your application process early. The average application process takes
at least 21 days.
